What Time Is It?
Technology Source June 7th, 2007If you had an atomic clock you would know. Have you seen these atomic clocks? These little things are amazing. They keep perfect time down to the second and they reset theirselves everyday. So just what is an atomic clock?
They are radio controlled clocks that tune into the radio signal emitted by the U.S. AtomicClock located in Fort Collins, Colorado. They reset themselves daily to the exact hour, minute, and second and automatically change themselves for Daylight Savings Time. They are always accurate to the second and are easy to use.
Does anyone own a clock like this? I just recently bought one of those that set theirself as soon as you plug them in. I didn’t know you had a clock that had it’s own mind. That’s pretty interesting knowing that you have a clock that does this, and all by radio signals. I wonder what happens when the power goes out in Fort Collins, Colorado? I guess they would be a lot of people that wouldn’t be able to know the exact time.
