I watched an interesting program last night on television. It was talking about all the oracles or prophets over time and how they have made predictions that came true. Many of these predictions are vague and are left for interpetation. So it’s hard to say a lot of these are actually right. They are a lot of different predictions that people have interpeted into our time today; that seem to fit.

Now the one big thing that a lot of different prophets was focusing on was the end of the world. It would occur in the 21st century; which we are now currently living in. They even went on futher in some cases and got to the date December 21, 2012. On that date is when a blackhole in the center of our Milky Way Galaxy will be lined up with the Earth and the sun. When this perfect alignment occurs; it is thought the poles will change places. It’s already believed that this has happened in the past. Some believe that Alaska was once on the equator and could return there again on December 21, 2012.

The poles could change quickly or might take several days to do so. The change will result in mass distinction for a lot of plants and animals currently living on our Earth. This could be the last day for man, but with 7 billion people in the world; you would think a couple of us will survive this big climate change. That’s what they were talking about last night on the History Channel. I guess for now it’s just a wait and see thing. You know this would have to happen on a Presidential Election year too!

Those are some of the ones that caught my eye. The 38 Pitches is a blog by the Boston Red Sox Curt Schilling and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban’s blog is Blog Maverick. They would seem like sports blogs, but I guess they have a tech-side for them to appear in the list. The GM Fastlane blog deals with the GM cars and a big board member posts on it regularly that makes it attractive. I really like the name of the Mental Floss blog and is obviously a description from “dental floss”. It was one of the best blogs I seen, based on just the name of it. Be sure to let me know some of your favorite technology blogs.

I have already had lots of fun playing around with it, and I’m sure you will to if you give it a try. Don’t forget to save your work and send it to your friends and show them just how creative you are. It’s really hilarious listening to these characters saying some of the crazy things you can make them say. I took the comedy approach when I made my movie, but you can make yours more of a serious tone. So Coke is giving you the chance to script your own movie and I have no doubts you will love it, if you just give it a try. It’s very simple to do and will truly make having that Coke with a smile!

Well I am sitting in my bedroom now and it’s about 10 at night. I can hear fireworks going off in full effect as the people in my neighborhood are celebrating the 4th of July. Thanks to all the troops and their families that are currently serving in the military and for all those brave men and women that have served in the past. I salute you all and know that we can enjoy the fireworks on this day, due to all your hard work and sacrifice.

I think fireworks seem to go higher, brighter, and louder every year. It’s amazing the way they create those little boogers. I wouldn’t even know where to begin, if I had to create some sort of firework. I just hope it isn’t too dry out there and no fires get started from everyone shooting off their fireworks.

I hear the military has some sort of “firework” (if you know more about this special weapon please chime in) that can create daylight during the night. It is something they can shoot up in the air and will show them where the enemy is at. For anyone that has seen this (which I haven’t) they say it’s amazing at how this type of firework can just brighten everything up and it last for several minutes. I have seen the older war movies where the enemy troops move across a field and our troops shoot one of these up in the air and it exposes them easy for the troops to begin firing at them with their guns. It looks pretty neat on the movies when they do this, but they say the modern technology of these things is really amazing now at just how long and how big of an area it will light up. I wouldn’t mind seeing one of these U.S. Military weapons shot off on the 4th of July, so I could see what everyone is talking about. Have a happy and safe 4th of July!

For all the heavy equipment operators out there or people that are wanting to become heavy equipment operators. They will now have the benefits of seeing live videos and animation to help them work better with heavy equipment and most importantly, doing it in the safest manner possible. These videos should be very helpful to all the heavy equipment operators.

Many of the accidents that occur with heavy equipment are preventable. I believe NAHETS plans to use these videos to help prevent the accidents that are occurring now.
