Cracker Barrel is the restaurant that is known as the country store. I have ate at Cracker Barrel many times, but never tried their catfish fillets before. Until today, I decided to give them a try and they were pretty good. You have two options when you order the catfish at Cracker Barrel. You can get your catfish grilled or fried. I went with the fried catfish fillets. I like catfish in general, but prefer the bone to be left in. Fish bones give fish a better taste and it seems the bones add to the flavor; while cooking the catfish. I’m picky on filets and normally they don’t taste right for me. The fried catfish fillets at Cracker Barrel met my approval rating for fish fillets.

You can get 3 side items when you select the catfish at Cracker Barrel. I assume it is like this for all Cracker Barrel restaurants. The meat loaf is good at Cracker Barrel and I knew it came with 3 side items. Normally you get 2 sides with your meat, but for the catfish or meat loaf, they will give you a 3rd side and there is no extra charge. I ate french fries, fried okra, and green beans as my 3 side items. My mama loves the hashbrown casserole at Cracker Barrel, so she gave me a little of that to try. I was pretty full after eating 2 pieces of fried catfish fillets, green beans, okra, french fries, hashbrown casserole, and a biscuit. It was a good meal and I did enjoy it. I probably won’t get any good food for tomorrow, so I will have to enjoy this Cracker Barrel meal for a long time.

We have already started to feel the first signs of Old Man Winter in these first few fall nights of the season. It gets pretty cold in my bedroom at night and especially if the temperature goes below freezing. I need to correct this now, before we get that really cold weather that normally takes place right before Christmas time. The window my air conditioner is in, needs some plastic or installation on it. I think I will try to get some plastic and seal up the gaps I have now. I’m not sure if a material like ultem would be helpful in my situation, but some type of plastic sheeting needs to be put on the outside of my window. If I could just get my hands on a few pieces of plastic sheeting, then I could take some small nails and seal my window up myself. I may not be able to get it totally air tight, but I know I could decrease the gaps that are present now. These gaps are a wide open door for Old Man Winter and he never fails to overlook them when we see those really cold temperatures. The small heater in my room is no match for the cold air that rushes in through these gaps; when we get temperatures around freezing or below. If you have some gaps or spaces in your windows that cold air comes in through, you may want to find a piece of plastic to seal up your cold air problems too. It’s time to take a cruise around the world and I’m ready for it. I could use a good long vacation and a cruise around the world would be the perfect cure for me right now. It would be fun for the first few days on a cruise around the world. I think most would get tired of the ocean waters after a week or 2 of being on the high seas. I think I would be up for it and I would like to take a trip that would dock at all the major continents; while taking me around the globe. If a cruise ship company doesn’t offer this service now; then it’s one they need to get. I’m sure there would be lots of interests on taking a trip around the world.
