The World of Dolphins

Saturday, February 21st, 2009

It must be nice being a dolphin these days. They get to swim freely in the waters that make up 70 percent of our Earth’s surface. I think it would be fun to be a dolphin for a day and I’m sure they don’t have the stresses we face on a daily basis. At least I would they are as care-free and as graceful as they appear to be swimming around in the oceans. I’m not sure if sharks and fishermen are a dolphin’s worse nightmare or it could be the pollution we deliver to the oceans daily.

I love dolphins and got to see some good information about them at
Dolphin Bubbles
, this is a great blog with great information and pictures about dolphins. The dolphins at SeaWorld are so well trained, I just wonder how long it takes them to train a dolphin that well. Dolphins are very smart and they do a lot of things that I don’t think any other fish in nature could do. I’m sure the Dolphins at Sea World is one of their main attractions. I know I see the whale that jumps really high on the commercials and people like to see the splash and how much water a whale can displace when it jumps high in the air.

Dolphin Bubbles is an excellent website and anyone that likes dolphins, I think would enjoy it. The Miami Dolphins football team might have a lot of fans, but I don’t think they would even come close to all the fans that the animal dolphins have.

Shopping with No Money

Saturday, February 21st, 2009

It’s not really easy to go shopping these days when nobody has any money to spend. The economy has us all a little short on funds these days and it’s tough to go shopping like we use to. I think using coupons and looking for sales is more important now than it has ever been in the past. We do appear to be in a recession and things may stay like this for the remainder of 2009. I hope we get some relief sooner and can go back to the malls shopping again.

There is no doubt we need a stimulus package for every American in this country right now. The checks should already be in the mail, but the politicians aren’t doing their best right now to achieve this. We are losing our jobs and homes at a alarming rate right now and something must be done soon. It does look like things will get worse before they get better here in the States.

For those of you that have not been affected by the economy yet, should still be watching your pennies. You might be the next one in-line to lose your job or an investment that you have a lot of money tied up in. I don’t trust the Stock Market or the banks right now and I just prefer to keep my cash at home. I feel safer knowing that the cash is in my hand than sitting at any financial institution right now. Hopefully the shoppers will return to the stores soon, but the government must give us a sizable stimulus package now to get the ball rolling.

It can be a daily battle for those that are suffering from withdrawal symptoms that come from a vicodin dependency. You don’t have to suffer with these awful symptoms and there is help available. The combination of acetaminophen and hydrocodone that make up vicodin is a powerful combination for pain. The body and mind get use to this combination and it’s hard to just stop taking it. The best way to stop taking vicodin is finding a detox center or plan that will help you break this habit. A vicodin detox doesn’t have to be hard and there is one solution that will help you just sleep through the withdrawal process. The Waismann Method has been working for over 10 years now, helping people get over an opiate addiction. They use anthesia to help your body sleep, so you don’t experience the bad symptoms that come from a lack of vicodin. They will also help you develop a plan after detox that will help you stay on the clean and vicodin-free path. Counselors and doctors assisting you every step of the way to make sure your recovery process is a long-term one and you don’t relapse to taking vicodin again. This is an effective way to rid your body of the opiates, so you can go back to feeling normal and not need vicodin ever again.

Branding Over Rated

Wednesday, February 18th, 2009

I think people are over reacting to the term “branding’. Branding isn’t as important as you may think. A lot of gurus are making people think this is important and it’s really not. Someone that is just starting out in marketing and doesn’t have a name yet, branding your name or picture doesn’t provide any short term help. If you continue to market for several years, people will eventually know who you are, but that doesn’t mean they will follow you. If you do something that hasn’t been done before and create a celebrity type name, you may can capitalize on that a bit, but it’s still not going to create success. Success comes from hard work, daily dedication, and promoting your website each day. Your overall success will not depend on your branding skills and this is a term that is highly over rated today. Don’t focus on branding your name or picture if you think this will help you be successful. Sometimes we have to ignore the advice others give us, because people that give advice, many times don’t even do it their selves. Try different marketing techniques and see what works best for you. Everyone’s method for success online isn’t taken by the same path. You do not need to brand your name or your picture to add money to your wallet or pocketbook. They are some people online that like to brag and let you know who they are and branding is a way for them to put their stamp on things. Beware of those trying to brand their name or picture and learn that quality in anything will survive!
