I’m really glad the election is about to wrap up and I’m really getting tired of the news and commercials I see everyday revolving around the elections. It has been a long time since we have seen the DOW drop below 10,000 points but if the numbers hold up right now, we will finish under that benchmark today. The former USC star and NFL running back star is finally going to find his self behind bars. It might be 13 years too late, but OJ Simpson is finally going to be in police custody. OJ was the culprit in a double homicide that took place more than a decade ago; which he walked away from. The good folks in Nevada didn’t let him walk this time and OJ was found guilty on all 12 charges brought against him. He was the part of a armed robbery and kidnapping and the sentence could be a life term in prision. I think the Goldman family has to be very happy tonight knowing that justice finally got served in a round about way. It might not be the kind of justice they had hoped for, but they finally get to see OJ Simpson going to jail and he will be there for a very long time.

The exact sentence won’t be known until December 5th, but even if they give him a 20 year sentence and he only does 12 years for good behavior; he would be 73 years old when he got out. I think 12 years behind bars would be the least amount of time he would do and he really should be given a lot more than that. OJ Simpson won’t be a free man on our streets no more and I think a lot of Americans are happy about that tonight. OJ was the guilty party 13 years ago and his brutal slaying of two people deserved to be punished then and he got very lucky in a California courtroom. So any punishment he gets now will be well-deserved and there will be no such thing as “too harsh” of a punishment.

Our laws really need to change and the double jeopardy thing makes no sense, if someone really is guilty. OJ Simpson should have never walked our streets again after the horrible acts he did so long ago. He pushed his luck and found his self in a armed robbery in a Las Vegas hotel and there is no excuse for these wild and foolish acts. My prayers continue to be with the families that lost loved ones from the hands of OJ Simpson and I’m glad the jury in Las Vegas delievered action on the man that is no better than Hitler.

The top team in the nation is no more and they lost to Oregon State in front of a national audience. I was so happy to see the over ranked USC Trojans get beat by a team that wasn’t even ranked in the top 25. I have been so concerned with USC playing in a BCS Bowl Game this year and it’s nice to see the gods of college football bring them down to their rightful place. I would have thought a loss to a unranked team in the country would have moved them out of the top 25 in college football, but apparently that isn’t the case. I’m not sure why we still see a 2 win team in the top 10; when they lost to a team like Oregon State and other teams have 4 wins and can’t get a top ten ranking. The great thing is we have online sports videos to prove that teams like USC don’t belong in the top 10 teams in college football.

The sports videos are great online and give us sports nuts a chance to show others in the country what we mean when we say a player or a team is good or in this case, if they are really, really, really over rated! I watch a lot of sports vids and get to see things that I sometimes don’t get to see on the sports channels or just forgot they happened. The local news media in Atlanta is relaying bad information to the public right now and things would be better if we all rationed at the pumps. The people that try to ration at the pumps, will be the same people that can’t go to work or will be on the side of the road with no gas. You should be buying gas in gas cans right now and creating your own storage supplies. The leaders in Georgia and the oil executives has already let us down in Atlanta and surrounding areas and it’s time we take control of our own situations. Stop what your doing now and find gas cans and containers that will allow you to have at least a 10 gallon supply of gas at home and to keep your gas tanks as full as possible.
