Tuesday, February 12th, 2008I recently had one of my websites ranked number 1 on Google. It stayed there for about 5 days and was for a very popular place that thousands are joining daily. During my 5 days of being on top for a popular keyword that would be serched for, I didn’t have one sign up for that 5 day period. So just how important is that number 1 spot on Google? Google branches off into many countries and your listing might change from country to country. I would have thought to be ranked on Google so high, that my 5 days on top for the folks in the USA, would have joined from my referral link. That didn’t happen and maybe I am still ranked number 1 in other countries.
I do have other pages for similar keyword searches and those pages aren’t boosting my downline either. I’ve not seen a high ranking in MSN or Yahoo, but wonder if more people are doing searches through MSN and Yahoo these days. I tend to use all 3 of the big search engines and just depending on what you’re looking for determines which one I might use. I still like the fact that Google sends its bot out more often than the other search engines and you can usually get a listing from Google in 24 to 48 hours. I guess a lot depends on your website and just how much traffic you’re getting to see just how high you might rank on Google or any other search engine. There is a new company out right now that says they can have you listed at number 1 for 40 of the top search engines. I am currently working with them and trying to see just how high I can get some of my other pages on those search engine rankings. Each search engine is different and learning the differences can determine which search engine might give your website the best listing. Just keep driving traffic to your website, keep fresh content on your website and get all the links you can pointing toward your website. These basics are true for today and will be for tomorrow in getting your listing on the popular search engines like Yahoo, MSN and even Google.

Great Win for the NY Giants
Monday, February 4th, 2008It seems many got upset because they didn’t get a chance to see history being made. I think we already had an undefeated team to have a perfect season in the NFL and what about the history of brothers winning back to back Super Bowls?
New England Patriots have a lot to be proud of, but their coach isn’t one of them. It was a horrible display of sportsmanship that the Patriots Coach showed, by walking off the field early and not even staying out there with his team until the final second had ticked off. Mike Carey the head of officials tried to get him off the field, but the Patriots coach just continued to do what he wanted to and he just lost a lot of respect around the country.
Anybody can chat with the media and be happy while they are winning. You can really judge someone’s character when they face adversity. The Patriots head coach had a lemon handed to him and he didn’t even come close to making lemonade out of it. I think that team will split up and won’t support a loser like him. The owner of the Patriots should nip this in the bud and get rid of him now. I have never seen a coach act so rude and he didn’t even congratulate the NY Giants in their efforts of winning the big game. You don’t have to mean it, but you still have to give props to the team that just beat you. May New England’s coach ride off into the sunset with his horrible displays of sportsmanship. He better not be coaching an NFL team when they come to the Georgia Dome here in Atlanta, because he will not be having a very pleasant time here.
Good job Giants and I’m sure the state of New York and all your fans are celebrating today! I think the MVP was awarded to the wrong person and the receiver that made that sensational catch was the true MVP of the game!
Sometimes people just don’t watch what they are seeing and that was true when they was bragging on Tom Brady. Randy Moss was what made the Patriots so good. It wasn’t their overrated QB, who missed open receivers all day on Super Bowl Sunday or that poor loser of a coach they have. They failed to use Randy Moss and it cost them! After Brady’s late touchdown toss, they were still hyping up Brady; when it was Moss making the catches that led them down the field. For some reason they felt Eli Manning was the MVP and just didn’t choose to watch the game and truly see who the most valuable player of that game was!
The Pyramids in Egypt
Monday, February 4th, 2008I would like to travel outside the borders of my country one day. So many places out there I would like to visit. Many European cities would be high on my list and I would have to include a stop in Italy if I did make my way around Europe. There is a great UK Company called Dialaflight that offer flights, hotels and travel ideas for those European cities and other cities around the world.
Now one of the coolest things in the history of man is those large structures in Egypt called the Pyramids. I might have to check on flights to Egypt and see if I could afford such a trip. I don’t think the television and movies that we watch, that shows Egypt’s Pyramids give them true justice. I believe to see them in person would be so much more breath-taking; than just to see them on the television or movie screens. It’s unbelievable to think of all the time and effort those Egyptians put into making those mammoth structures that are still pretty much intact today. I don’t think you could just spend one day there and would need a whole week to take in the Pyramids and other attractions that Egypt has to offer. For now it still remains on my to-do list, but look forward to the day I might get to see some of these foreign destinations in person.
Spanish Sensation Alex Does 2 Videos!
Monday, February 4th, 2008The YouTube Sensation Alex is steadily moving along over at You Tube cranking those videos out. It’s really impressive to see Alex working her way through school and still having time to give her You Tube fans the chance to see new videos. You just have to believe that this sweetheart south of the border will be doing something much bigger; than just uploading videos over at YouTube one day. I have enjoyed adding her videos to my blog and it’s always fun to come over here and blog about the You Tube Sensation.
A Modern Myth – 30 Seconds To Mars
Now some of you have sent me nice messages about doing a great job with Alex’s videos. Do I really deserve any credit? Alex has made all the magic happen from her home in Mexico. She gets in front of her webcam and creates the magic and all I am doing is adding her videos to my blog and a few words around them. I did suggest a few songs for Alex at one time and she actually did 1 singing video of my requests. While I’m not too familiar with some of the songs Alex chooses to sing, it’s always funny to hear a song that she has just sung being played on the radio. I hear it come on and I know it sounds familiar and then realize its a song that Alex has done! So as much as some of you are learning about Alex, I am getting the chance to hear songs, that normally I might not listen to. So the songs you hear her singing are her choice or a request from one of her fans at YouTube.

Isn’t the internet great? Years ago, someone like me living in the United States (Georgia) might not ever get the chance to hear about someone like Alex. Well I might get to hear her when she’s out there producing music, playing an instrument, composing songs or singing them; but would never have this early insight to a star in the making. Will Alex be really famous one day in North America? I don’t think no one has the answer to that, but its hard not to think that the music industry will not one day find a place for Alex to be very successful. It might be something Mexico gets to keep all for their self or maybe the folks living in the USA (like me) or people on the other side of the world will get the pleasure to hear the You Tube Sensation. I am greatful that I get to post all of these great videos by Alex and I never take it for granted. Who knows how much longer we get to enjoy Alex from her webcam in Mexico, but for now me and people all over the world can enjoy her talents and it’s all because of the internet!
I will be working real hard to try and get more of these great videos up from Alex. So maybe you won’t have to wait as long for the next great video from that girl in Mexico that just creates magic, when she’s exposing her self from her webcam!

Yankee Fans Looking for more Derek Jeter
Saturday, February 2nd, 2008The media capital of the world is New York City and no star shines brighter in New York; than the Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter. He might have more fan support than any other athlete in any other city. Mr. Jeter certainly has one of the largest cities in the world on his side. This slick fielding shortstop never seems to disappoint the crowd either and sends excitement through out the Big Apple with his glove and his bat too!

It’s no big surprise that a company would not want Derek Jeter promoting their products. Baseball season is still a couple of months away from the start and the Yankee Fans missing their Derek Jeter; now can bring him to their phones. So Yankee Fans can now treat their self to more of Jeter and other great things; that can be added on to their cell phones.
