Mexican Teen Gets Serious

One of the newest YouTube videos to hit the airwaves by Alex is stunning! The little teen from Mexico gets big roars of approval with this latest video! Beauty and magic is all created and released in the same breath, as Alex performs Nelly Furtado’s Say It Right.

Simply Amazing!

Alex is like a race car driver that has been showing us the road, and then suddenly decides to step on the gas pedal and go as fast as she can! After seeing so many of Alex’s videos I thought there was not much that could amaze me anymore, until I saw this one!

She has shown in the past her ability to change her look. She totally captures a whole new image in this video. Now obviously the main thing is with her hair and the way she chose to wear it in this latest video by the You Tube sensation. Alex’s mom actually does not like the way she has her hair in this Nelly video. It is different, but it seems to have that hip look to it. What are your thoughts on Alex’s hair style in this video? Is it a good or bad look for her?

It’s like she grew up overnight in this video. It was as if she went from a 15 year-old-teen to someone that was 20! Alex has been talking and singing with us on her videos before and has really shown us her charm and sense of humor from the earlier videos. No charm, no sense of humor, no nothing in this video, it was all about what she was capable of doing! And man did she do it! Well done Alex!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finding Healthcare Online

If you’re out shopping for healthcare on the internet, then you are going to find a lot of information out there. I just typed in “healthcare” on Google and it shows 108 million websites in its search engine results regarding healthcare. I guess it will be 108 million and one, when I submit this post on healthcare.

Now obviously you don’t have time to go through all those search engine results, and will need to find more of a niche on healthcare. If you see a company like air ambulance services, then you can see the special services they can offer to a community, city, state, or even a hospital. A service like theirs isn’t done by too many people in the healthcare industry. They don’t just do the healthcare part, but they do the transportation areas of healthcare, that can really benefit a patient, their family, or even their own doctor.

Air Ambulance has a trained staff on board to take care of patients that might be suffering from cancer, a heart transplant, stroke, or just a fragile patient that is difficult to move. They tend to a whole host of needs that a patient might need, while they are being transported from one hospital to another. This is such an important service in the healthcare industry that sometimes goes unnoticed. They have been performing their services for the last 20 years and have gained a lot of trust throughout the years from their patients and their families.

All hospitals go through some sort of training with their medical staff in case some major catastrophe was to happen and how they would deal with the injured people coming in. It has to be a hard situation for any hospital to try and take care of so many patients at one time, when they won’t have enough doctors and nurses on hand for such a catastrophe. When a major event like this occurs, is just one of the ways Air Ambulance can be a great service to a community. They are on standby 24 hours a day and are ready for some massive destruction to occur.

If something like an earthquake injured a lot of people and the local hospitals in the area, then there would be a huge demand for medical facilities and personnel to handle the injured and the patients that were already in the hospital to begin with. Air Ambulance could transport all of the patients and people needing medical care to another hospital that might be a long ways away if you had to drive it. Taking to the air, they can save a lot of precious time and help lessen the blow of a major catastrophe. When you are thinking about all the different healthcare sectors that are available, keep in mind just how important Air Ambulance is in the healthcare industry!

Investing in Bank Shares

A new bank opening up in your community can be a good sign. It can signal that your area is doing well financially and that bank feels like they can draw enough customers in your community, to get accounts at their bank. A sign of prosperity is what can sometimes be seen by having a new bank coming to your community.

Now if this new bank opens up and they are asking the community to invest in bank shares; this can be a good investment opportunity. In most cases it will be something like $10 a share and will want the people living around the new bank to invest in them. Banks rarely fail or lose their value in the marketplace. Even if a bank starts to do bad or underperforms, they can usually sell their bank to a larger banking system, that will help the values of the bank shares you bought with the bank. Buying up these bank shares for a new bank is a way to get in on the ground floor of action. Now depending on just how well the bank actually does, will determine how much money you can make.

Now you can get documentation showing your shares with the new bank. So you will have a certificate saying that John Doe owns X amount of shares with the bank. You are then part owner of the bank. It might be a very little percentage amount, but you are one of the owners of the bank now. You will have voting rights and other things that most share holders receive. When someone wants to start looking for a bigger stake in the bank, they will see you owning shares, and they will offer you a very generous amount for your shares in the bank. Sometimes this can be double of what the actual share price might be selling for, and you can really make a nice little profit. So be on the lookout for new banks opening up in your area, and see if you can buy bank shares in the new bank.

Fireworks and the 4th

Well I am sitting in my bedroom now and it’s about 10 at night. I can hear fireworks going off in full effect as the people in my neighborhood are celebrating the 4th of July. Thanks to all the troops and their families that are currently serving in the military and for all those brave men and women that have served in the past. I salute you all and know that we can enjoy the fireworks on this day, due to all your hard work and sacrifice.

I think fireworks seem to go higher, brighter, and louder every year. It’s amazing the way they create those little boogers. I wouldn’t even know where to begin, if I had to create some sort of firework. I just hope it isn’t too dry out there and no fires get started from everyone shooting off their fireworks.

I hear the military has some sort of “firework” (if you know more about this special weapon please chime in) that can create daylight during the night. It is something they can shoot up in the air and will show them where the enemy is at. For anyone that has seen this (which I haven’t) they say it’s amazing at how this type of firework can just brighten everything up and it last for several minutes. I have seen the older war movies where the enemy troops move across a field and our troops shoot one of these up in the air and it exposes them easy for the troops to begin firing at them with their guns. It looks pretty neat on the movies when they do this, but they say the modern technology of these things is really amazing now at just how long and how big of an area it will light up. I wouldn’t mind seeing one of these U.S. Military weapons shot off on the 4th of July, so I could see what everyone is talking about. Have a happy and safe 4th of July!

Back To School Shopping?

You can save money by doing your shopping early or really late. Some of the best deals can be found right after the 4th of July. Then some retailers will have disappointing numbers for the back to school shopping and will cut even better deals on their already marked down prices. So if you don’t shop in July, you might want to wait to the first weekend after school has started back. Your kids might not have the new threads to sport the first week of school, but you will be able to buy them even more clothes if they can hold out that first week. They will be sporting their new threads the 2nd week of school while most of the other kids will start repeating their fashion appearances. So if you can convince your kids to wear the old clothes for a week, you will really like the after school start sales, when the really, really good deals can be found then.

Now my school days have long been over and gone, but I need to do some shopping. I think I am going to hold out for a couple of more months, so I can take advantage of the “school season has started sales”. It’s not always a guarantee that these specials will come, but it is a guarantee that the retailers try to earn every penny they can for this time of the year.

Its none other than my buddy Tina! Well she might not consider me a buddy, but I do her (Hey Tina…..IT’S CHRIS!….LOL). I know Tina from the PayPerPost Forum that she is very active on. I have heard her say that she stays online a lot, and I would have to say so, considering she has the time to keep up with 2 blogs and to offer helpful suggestions, questions, and comments over at the PPP Forum so regularly. Now I live just south of Tina in a small area we call the USA. Yep…she’s a Canadian gal and I also noticed from Tina Silva’s Blog that she is also a Scorpio. I am too! I’m on up the calendar a bit though, November 8th here, so I guess that makes her 10 days older than me? No we don’t need the year to determine that, only the months thank you!

Now if Tina doesn’t consider me a bud, then its ok I’m only using her to get to her dad anyways! I see good ol dad spent a pretty penny so Tina could enjoy the luxuries of a 5 star resort. Go Tina’s Dad! I am available for adoption sir? I’m not as talented as Tina, because I know she creates those free wordpress themes, but I bet I could shovel that Canadian snow better than her?

Alex Has a Message For All You Gals Out There!

Yes, I’m talking about you all! I think Alex covers a very important topic here and all the girls of the world need to listen up! Alex even shows us her real look, which I think fits her perfect! She also shows her amazing versatility and the ability to give you so many different looks in this one 9 minute video. We always see those movie actors and actresses that star in more than 1 movie. The really good ones can change their whole look and make you think of a totally different character. Sylvester Stallone seems like two different people when he is Rambo or Rocky. Alex has a little of that Stallone magic going on in this video, as she shows different characters and it’s not like your watching the same person.

Hey…..nothing wrong with the Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin! Two great bands, with one just having the most requested song of all time for radio play (Stairway To Heaven). The YouTube sensation shows us once again, her abilities to adapt to situations and even shows us that she has a little director in her. Her creative outfit changes, that happen in the blink of the eye as we all got to watch this video. I know it must have took some time and effort for Alex to put this video together.

If you have been watching Alex’s videos here at Single Source Writing, then where do you see this talented teen from Mexico headed? Do you see her on MTV or VH1 one day singing in a video? Does she have that actress thing going on, where she might be in a movie, sit com, or maybe a daytime soap opera? I think she has the talent and abilities to go in either direction, or even both if she wanted to. Now if it’s up to her, then she’s going to be the girl on your music videos playing her guitar and rocking the show out! I wouldn’t be surprised to see someone snatch this teen up for promotional purposes. I can see her doing commercials for fashion, automobiles, or maybe even some breakfast cereal. I haven’t quite put my finger on it yet, but I think she’s going to be the face of a product one day. Whatever product it is, they might want to go ahead and include some tunes with it, because I don’t see her giving up this music gig anytime soon!

Ok……..I have to go now, planning a small trip tomorrow and I just realized that I DON’T HAVE ANYTHING TO WEAR!

Cherokee, North Carolina

I might be going to Cherokee and do some gambling on the Indian Reservation for the 4th of July. I’m not sure what my buddies have decided yet. I have never been there, and I live about 2 hours away from the casino up there. I’m looking forward to it, if I do get the chance to go. I haven’t done anything exciting lately, so just to go up there for a night sounds fun right now. One of my friend’s will get off work tomorrow around 5:30 in the evening and if we are going we would leave when he gets off of work. So we would probably go up there gamble all night long and just drive back home early that morning. So should be back home on the 4th of July to take in any local fireworks shows that might be going on.

I will be sure to update this story if I get lucky and win big. If you don’t see me update this story, then you know I just wasted money like everybody else does at the casinos every day. I’m not going to go crazy or nothing. I figured I would just take $100 and leave the debit card at home. So I will probably spend 20 bucks on food and tips for the waitresses, and would lose 80 at the most to those slot machines. They don’t have the dealers and card tables in Cherokee, North Carolina and that’s more my style of playing, but who knows maybe I can win a few hundred bucks and have a night at of the house. Happy 4th everyone!

Rack’em!

Anyone for a game of pool? Pool is something that I have done my whole life. I been in pool tournaments and even made small trips to play in some of the bigger ones. I have learned a lot in my days of playing pool. Keep chalk on your stick and watch your back! Just a little humor for anyone that has spent time around the pool tables.

It’s a lot of fun to play pool for fun, money, or even trophies. I have met a lot of people throughout my years of playing. Everyone has their own twist on how to play and how they go about it. I can give you one piece of advice I learned a long time ago, and it still holds true today and for tomorrow too. Now most people when they can do something well, they will naturally let you know about it over some point and time. It’s not true with pool players! It’s actually a cardinal sin to let me know that you play well. It’s nothing you have to worry about, and it’s not a secret you really have to try and keep.

This is what I have learned from pool players, and trust me, I know this. I have played against thousands of other pool players, so I know a little bit about what I’m saying here. Here’s some advice you need to remember. If anyone and I mean anyone ever tells you they are “good” at pool. Then don’t be scared of them one bit! Now that’s saying that you can play the game pretty good yourself and your not someone that just picked up a stick a year or two ago. The really great pool players never tell you they can play pool good. About 90 percent of people that have shot a few games in their life will tell you they are “good” or they play “pretty good”. These people have never scared me and most of the times it was these people that paid my bills for me.

Now I’m nothing special when it comes to being a good player (fear that statement, because I’m not saying I’m real good) but I have learned over the years how to maximize my talents. Just because you can beat the best player in the house, doesn’t mean you should just go prove it to everybody. Sure you might be the man of the night, and even become popular at that particular pool hall or game room. In the long run you will just be hurting yourself. Play smart, and always try to get a spot when your playing somebody. A “spot” is a way of having an extra advantage in winning the game.

If I “spot” you the 8 ball and we are playing a game of 9 ball. Then you don’t have to make the 9 ball to win. If you make a clean shot and the 8 or 9 goes in, then you win. So getting a “spot” is a good thing. I can’t tell you how many times a player that was weaker than me, was the one giving me the “spot”. I used pool for financial purposes and I left the fame to other people.

Now if you are someone that wants to be good and get a chance to play in those big tournaments. Then you never want to let up. Play strong all the time and do a little something each day to try and make your pool game better. I actually had the opportunity to watch Johnny Archer play a lot, and seeing a professional in person is amazing. He use to practice at a place I use to go to off of Bells Ferry Road in the Southern Portion of Cherokee County. He was a sight to be hold watching him play in person! You can appreciate it more in person, than you can on television.

Paris Hilton Tells Us the Truth

If you seen Paris Hilton on Larry King Live then you know she spilled her guts out to America. She really gave a heart-felt interview with Larry King and it’s good to know she let it all out. I wasn’t aware that she wasn’t living off her family’s money. She makes her own money and she works very hard to do it. No it’s true, she even says it in her interview. You can watch for yourself and see how Paris Hilton tells the truth about everything. If there is anything that she says that is not true, then a number will come up and we will count any thing she might have not been honest with us about.

So she made a few boo boos. 15 wasn’t that bad? I’m sure other convicted drunk drivers would have scored much higher than Paris did.
