Alex had the chance to watch one of her YouTube idols sing a song by Justin Timberlake. Justin Timberlake has recently signed Esemee Denters to a record contract, and there is a video of Esemee singing one of Justin Timberlake’s songs. After Alex had the chance to watch Esemee Denters sing this song, she thought she would give it a try. So the YouTube Sensation uploaded a video at YouTube with her singing the same Justin Timberlake song as Esemee Denters was singing.

Wow! Such a great job by Alex to sit down and sing a song that a man sings originally. It really doesn’t matter if Alex is singing a man or woman’s song, because Alex has her own special way of making the song; her song. That is something that I see on YouTube a lot and hear the judges on American Idol talk about often. You see singers all the time that don’t make the song theirs. Instead you have people all over You Tube and the singers that perform on American Idol, and all they do is try to copy the original singer of the song.

When you see someone like Britany Spears, Justin Timberlake, Alex the YouTube Sensation, or even Esemee Denters singing one of their songs, then they are singing the song to the way it best suits them. So many people try to copy the way the star singer sings it, that they just end up giving a performance that is less than 100 percent of what they might could have achieved, if they would have only made the song; their song. So for all the singers out there, don’t worry about singing it like the famous singers sung it. Just do the song in your own style and voice and it will come out so much better, then if you tried to mock someone.

When I seen this lastest video by Alex, I was so excited! She did such a great job on this song, and by no means did she try to perform it like Justin Timberlake did. I really like at the beginning when the music starts and Alex gives us a couple of crazy dance moves, and then she let’s us know that she was just joking. It shows that side of Alex that likes to joke and what a good sense of humor she has.

Then when it gets to the part of the song where the singing starts, I really liked how Alex went from her joking mood to humming the beginning noises of the song. Then when the first words of the song are being sung by Alex, she turns right into her webcam and sings the first few lyrics looking directly at her audience. The first 30 seconds of this video was just magical and it couldn’t have been scripted any better, even if Alex took the time to plan it out. It’s just one of those things where everything fell in line and it all came together nicely.

Now the rest of this 4+ minute video was great too! I think this is one of the best videos that Alex has done at YouTube! If it’s not the best, then it would have to be in the top 5. It’s just a great video because Alex sung the song like Alex sings. She didn’t try to lower her voice and sound like that Timberlake feller. She took the music and the words, and sung it in her voice and everybody that gets a chance to watch this video, will be hearing the YouTube Star Alex and not someone trying to sound like Justin Timberlake.

It also looks like the YouTube Sensation Alex is getting comfortable in front of the webcam. We got to see her throwing her arms and hands up quite a bit, as she looks really relaxed in this video. It’s always exciting to see her upload a new video at YouTube, and when you see the way she is improving and how far she has came from those early days on YouTube, it makes it just that much more exciting to see the next video that Alex will have on display for all the YouTubers and people reading Single Source Writing to see! Alex does have other things going on right now in her life, so she can’t upload a new video every single day. We just have to patiently sit back and see what new video she will upload and see if she will be singing, talking, playing the guitar, or showing us another side of her talents.

It was great that Peanut Butter found Jelly and gave us a great way to eat the two together on those PB&J sandwiches. I think Alex and YouTube are just like Peanut Butter and Jelly, and that they were meant to find each other. Alex starring on YouTube fits just like a glove that was specially made to fit on a certain person’s hand. There’s no doubts that Alex and You Tube are a natural fit! Keep up the great work Rocio (her spanish name)! I can hardly wait to see what you have up your sleeve next Ms. Alex!

Well the 2nd part of the 8 part series THE BRONX IS BURNING has came out and picked up where the 1st one left off. We are starting to see the Yankees get in a bit of a war, as Billy Martin doesn’t seem to be all that thrilled to having Reggie Jackson as a Yankee. Then the owner George Steinbrenner isn’t all that thrilled that Reggie Jackson isn’t get to play every game and he’s having to pay his hefty salary for just sitting on the bench.

The Son of Sam is now the name of the serial killer that has been going around shooting people at point blank range in the Queens area of New York. Actually the killer is sending in letters to the police and he calls himself the Son of Sam. The newspapers are referring to the killer as the .44 Caliber Killer. There’s a little bit of coincidence that the newspapers are picking up on the .44 Caliber part, while the new star slugger Reggie Jackson wears the uniform number of 44. So there are 2 forty fours that are making the headlines in New York City in the summer of 1977.

We got to see some of the stress being relieved from the team, as Billy Martin tries a little bit of luck. He calls Reggie Jackson into his office and he has a hat that has all the starting position players for the Yankees in it. The coach has written down all the names on separate pieces of paper and has mixed them up in the hat. When Reggie comes into the office, Billy tells him to pick one piece of paper out of the hat. When Reggie pulls out the first piece of paper, it has Randolph on it and then Billy instructs one of the other coaches to start writing the names on the chalkboard, that is located in the room. Billy then tells Reggie to pick another name out of the hat and he continues this process until 9 players are picked out of the hat. He then uses this as the batting order for the next game. The Yankees get on a little win streak and they continue to use this batting order during the streak, that Reggie picked out of the hat.

So the first 2 shows are in the books and there are 6 shows left. The 3rd part of the Bronx is Burning comes on at 10PM Eastern USA Time on July 24th and can be seen on ESPN. ESPN will be showing all 8 of the episodes on a weekly basis for the next 8 weeks of this mini-series that is revolving around the Yankees, Son of Sam, and the Blackout that New York had to endure that year. Don’t worry if you miss any of the shows original air dates, as ESPN is showing each new part several times throughout the week. So if you’re not around on Tuesday Night or miss an episode, then you will have plenty of chances to see the current episode, before a new one follows on Tuesday Nights.

Continuing to show her versatility, the young sensation from YouTube brings out the guitar to do a couple of songs. Playing the guitar is something I always wanted to learn, but never took the time to sit down and try. I should know how to play one because I have so many friends that know how to play a guitar.

The many talents of the YouTube Sensation from Mexico continues to go strong. Her subscirber rate over at YouTube continues to climb as she has 89 right now and this is from December of 06′ to right now. There’s not many other stars over at YouTube that are shinning any brighter than this 15 year old with her talents being displayed on her webcam. It’s really amazing to watch some of Alex’s earlier videos and to watch her today and see all the progress she has made lately. It’s an eagle that was coming in for a landing, and found a deer? Actually this bad bird went right after the deer and picked it up and threw it down. This is one bad bird!

Yep, that was one heck of a tackle. I don’t think I have ever seen anything quite like that. This bird could pick up a small child or dog easily and drag them through the air for miles and miles if they wanted to. Looking at this video gives us a glimpse to how things might have been like when the dinosaurs were around. I’m sure there were big flying birds back then that would swoop down and take on things like the eagle did in this video. I wouldn’t want to be messing around the nest of an eagle and they me as a threat. They might do a person like what they did to this poor little deer.

The daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus, that is famous for that one song that we all know Achy Breaky Heart, is who Hanna Montana really is. Miley Cyrus has a double lifestyle on the Hanna Montana Show that can be seen on the Disney Channel. She uses her real name “Miley” as a regular teen going to school and is just like any other teen girl. However, her hidden identity in the show that only a few close friends know about, is her stage name Hanna Montana. Hanna is a popular singer in the show and has a big fan following. When Hanna appears on the show she is wearing a blond wig and when Miley is appearing, she uses her natural brown hair color. Miley Cyrus even has her own website and of coarse a MySpace page too in her online activities. She just might be the new bread winner in the family and her dad might have to take a back seat. Billy Ray is still performing and putting out new music, but I’m not sure how well it’s doing for him. He might just be better off playing the dad on Disney’s Hanna Montana (which he really does do) and forget about his music career.

I could see the YouTube Sensation Alex struting her stuff with a show like Miley’s one day. Where she would have the opportunity to play and sing her music while acting in front of an audience. Alex had only learned about Hanna Montana about 24 hours before releasing this video to YouTube. So it’s very impressive just how quickly she was able to take this song and turn around and upload a video with her singing it.

ESPN’s new show that just premiered tonight looks like a pretty good show and a must-see show for any Yankee Fans. The Bronx is Burning gave us its first show tonight right after the 2007 Homerun Derby that was on ESPN. The one hour show started in 1977 just for a quick glimpse at Reggie Jackson not hustling for a fly ball and Billy Martin benching him. The two got in a heated argument in the dugout and then the show paused and took us back two years before that.

In 1975 George Steinbrenner was searching for a new coach for the Bronx Bombers known as the New York Yankees. He wanted Billy Martin and had to convince him that he was the man for the job. It appears Billy Martin wasn’t 100 percent sold on the idea of being the Yankee’s new manager, but still took the job.

After Billy’s arrival to the Big Apple he took the Yankees all the way to the World Series in 1976. It was a huge accomplishment but got over-shadowed by the fact that the Big Red Machine known as the Cincinnati Reds won the 1976 World Series in a 4 game sweep. Steinbrenner who is the Yankees owner was embarrassed by getting beat so bad in the World Series. He suddenly feels the need to add a big name to his ball club and seeks out the services of Mr. October, better known as Reggie Jackson.

The Yankees wasn’t offering Reggie Jackson the most money, but in the show the Bronx is Burning, we are led to believe that Steinbrenner convinces Jackson to become a Yankee because Madison Avenue is only two blocks away and he can make a fortune in endorsements. So Reggie agrees to become a Yankee and will begin the 1977 season as a New York Yankee.

Now while all of this is going on in New York in the late 1970’s, the show is also showing a serial killer that is starting to make his impact in the City that never sleeps. We will later know that this serial killer gets the name the .44 caliber killer ( Son of Sam ) but the Bronx is Burning has not told us that yet in the show’s first episode, that is a 8 part miniseries on the 1977 Yankees and their role in New York City’s turbulent summer and fall.

Now if all of this isn’t enough for your entertainment pleasures, you still have to factor in the 1977 Blackout that occurred right in the middle of the serial killer and the Yankees Problems. So there is a lot that will be going on in the next 7 episodes of this series and it should be quiet interesting to relive a time known as the Bronx is Burning.

There is even a website that has been created for this 8 part miniseries that is being shown on ESPN. Do you know how to see where your page ranks? It’s really easy to do and lots of places you can check your pagerank. Don’t get your hopes up too much though, because PR 8 and PR 9 rankings are pretty rare too. A PR7 is about the highest rank a normal person could ask for.

Now if you are some SEO genius or know you way around the rankings, you might have tips and tricks for getting a real high page ranking. I’m all ears if you have any suggestions or good advice. Wow! I can’t believe some of the temps I have been hearing about on the West Coast of the USA. They are really getting baked over there. I have seen temperatures well above 100 degrees over there for a lot of different areas. Around Arizona and the Las Vegas area they have been dealing with extremely high temperatures. I seen one reading that was for 122 degrees in Arizona, and that is just way too hot.

There are dangers associated with these record high temperatures that are being reported. If you live in these areas, then please be sure to try and stay indoors. Don’t stay outside for too long and especially if you are exerting any type of energy outdoors. It takes our bodies time to catch up with us, when we are outdoors and doing a physical activity. You want to have plenty of fluids available for drinking. Water is the best thing to drink and staying hydrated is the best way to combat the high temps. If you can avoid the outdoors, then please do so and just stay inside.

Be smart with the electricity! I have heard about blackouts occurring in Nevada and when people start losing their power with these record breaking temps, then it can be a life-threatening issue that you are faced with. Conserve as much electricity as you can and try to set the thermostat up a little bit, so it’s just a little warm inside and not very cool. It might not be comfortable indoors having your rooms slightly warm, but losing your power and having to have your rooms hot, is not a great way to go either. I think the Las Vegas Strip could help a lot to conserve energy and I hope someone is enforcing the downtown businesses to use less electricity.

Stay safe out there! Drink plenty of water and conserve as much electricity as possible!

One of the newest YouTube videos to hit the airwaves by Alex is stunning! The little teen from Mexico gets big roars of approval with this latest video! Beauty and magic is all created and released in the same breath, as Alex performs Nelly Furtado’s Say It Right.

Simply Amazing!

Alex is like a race car driver that has been showing us the road, and then suddenly decides to step on the gas pedal and go as fast as she can! After seeing so many of Alex’s videos I thought there was not much that could amaze me anymore, until I saw this one!

She has shown in the past her ability to change her look. She totally captures a whole new image in this video. Now obviously the main thing is with her hair and the way she chose to wear it in this latest video by the You Tube sensation. Alex’s mom actually does not like the way she has her hair in this Nelly video. It is different, but it seems to have that hip look to it. What are your thoughts on Alex’s hair style in this video? Is it a good or bad look for her?

It’s like she grew up overnight in this video. It was as if she went from a 15 year-old-teen to someone that was 20! Alex has been talking and singing with us on her videos before and has really shown us her charm and sense of humor from the earlier videos. No charm, no sense of humor, no nothing in this video, it was all about what she was capable of doing! And man did she do it! Well done Alex!!!!!!!!!!!!
