Have you recently discovered the internet? Well you probably have noticed one thing that really sticks out, and a lot of reading is required. That’s how we communicate online and have information displayed mostly, is by using words. Saving Trees at the ATM

All the little things in life can add up to bigger things down the road. It’s amazing when we calculate a few of the little things that millions of people do each day, and how they can have a big effect on the environment down the road. Just the way we conduct our business at the ATM (automatic teller machine) at the banks. How many of you go get money from your ATM and you always get a receipt with it? We could really help the environment and save trees, if we just simply declined to get a receipt when making our transactions. All the receipt is showing is what your bank account is now, after you have made your withdrawal. I think a lot of people keep up with their balances or they look at their banking information from online. If we could just stop getting those receipts everytime we take money out of an ATM, then we could save a lot of trees!

Alex Faces Off Against Her YouTube Idol Esmee Denters

YouTube Star Alex has high praises for another fellow YouTube member. Her name is Esmee Denters and she does have an amazing singing voice. Alex has even commented on Esmee to say “she awesome!!!the best singer on youtube i´ve heard“, so this is high praise from one YouTube Star to another one. I thought it would be fun to compare the two. I was able to go back in the You Tube vault and dig up two songs that both of these YouTube stars sing. Each one of them have put out a video at YouTube with them singing Vanessa Carlton’s 1000 Miles.

Now Esmee sings great! She has a great voice and hearing her on the radio would be pleasing to the ears. Now Alex brings in more of a total package, that would be more suitable for a television audience. Watch Alex with this same song and watch the fun she has with it. You will see her start to move her head when the singing stops, and those catchy little music riffs come in. It seems Alex tries to hold back a little bit and doesn’t let her self go, but we get to see those small glimpses of her wanting to have fun with the song. There’s just something holding Alex back from letting go and doing this song with her own style in it. When Alex relaxes and let’s go, is when she will really take off! Keep in mind that Alex is a full 3 years younger than Esmee Denters, so comparing these two right now really isn’t fair, I just wanted to compare the differences in two You Tube stars doing the same exact song.

Carrying the Little One Around

For those of you that have small children or maybe you just care for someone else’s small child, what is the best way you carry them around with? I guess the conventional way is to have a baby carriage that you push along. Now going up hills or trying to go over curbs on the sidewalks can make a baby carriage hard to deal with, and it doesn’t have to be that way. Not to mention that you have to keep the carriage in your eye-sight the whole time, so you don’t misplace the child you are caring for.

There is a better way to get your child around. Have you ever considered getting a baby carrier? This is a sling that goes around an adult and will keep your child close by your side. I have even seen the Hollywood celebrities doing this method for their children. I’m sure the main reason the celebrities do this, is for security purposes. They want to do all they can to protect their child, and having them in a baby sling that is close to your body insures their protection. Your kids are just as important, and you should really do all that you can do to insure their safety. These baby slings not only help to protect your baby, but can really be an easier way of toting them around, without the use of a bulky carriage that might not be the easiest thing to store or push around. Start considering a new way of transporting your child around or a child that has been placed in your hands for keeping. I think you will see all the advantages this method can have for ease and mobility!

Email Software

Do you get a lot of emails? Have you ever deleted an email or lost an email that you wished you had saved? I think we all have and we have learned lessons from the past that now makes us not want to delete anything. However, our email accounts can only store so much memory and we are soon forced to have to start deleting some of those emails we think we will never need again.

There is a better way to handle our emails. We do have the option to backup e-mail with a simple to use program that we can download. Amateur Jeff Fox Drops the Ball

It’s not clear what collegehoops.net saw in one of their reporters from Canada, but he clearly doesn’t have any NBA knowledge whatsoever. He has recently posted an article on June 20th concerning the Atlanta Hawks and what they might do with the 3rd pick in the draft. He’s right that the first two picks are locked up, and the draft will begin with Atlanta’s pick (3rd overall). From there he totally goes in the wrong direction with unnecessary remarks concerning the Atlanta Hawks.

He praises the Phoenix Suns and lashes out against the boys from the ATL. I guess that Mr. Jeff Fox failed to mention a couple of things in his article, which I will do now. Is he aware of the youth in Atlanta and how they have been the youngest team in the NBA for the last few years. No wonder championships haven’t been won in Atlanta, since their fellow big brothers are a lot older and more experienced than them. I wonder if Jeff Fox has any younger siblings or older ones. Maybe he has a big brother or sister that picked on him, and now he gets to pick on someone smaller than him. I guess he got the gig at CollegeHoops.net by poking fun at the little guys. He might want to remember the little guys do grow up some day.

He really thinks Phoenix will end up with a lottery selection next year. He could be right, Nash is starting to age and has lost a step, and the Amare trade rumors continue to swirl, so Phoenix might very well have a lottery selection next year. Suns fans will be happy to know that they will get a 2nd pick in the first round in the 2008 draft next year, since they will get Atlanta’s pick from the Joe Johnson trade. This will not be a lottery pick, because THE ATLANTA HAWKS WILL MAKE THE PLAYOFFS NEXT YEAR! GURANTEED!

Amateur reporter Jeff Fox has no problems mentioning the Hawks blunders in previous drafts. Yes the Hawks passed on Josh Howard from the Dallas Mavericks, like the rest of the teams in the NBA did too! He compares Luol Deng from the Bulls like he is so much better than Josh Childress of the Hawks.

LUOL DENG Started 82 games (37.5 MPG), 18 points per game, .59 blocks per game, 1.18 steals per game, 7 rebounds a game, 77% from the free throw line, 51% FG percentage from the floor, 2.5 assists a game

JOSH CHILDRESS Started 13 games (36.8 MPG), 13 points per game, .65 blocks per game, 1.05 steals per game, 6 rebounds a game, 79% from the free throw line, 50% FG percentage from the floor, 2.3 assists a game

Now is this really a huge blunder? Which player would you like to have? These stats look pretty similar to me, and I think either player would give you the same production as the other. So calling this a draft day blunder doesn’t make no sense. Jeff Fox also forgot to tell you about Josh Smith who went 17th in this draft, and all the teams that passed him up. Josh Smith was one of the top 3 guys in block shots this year, and he’s only 21 years old! Seems Mr. Knight (Atlanta GM) might have a little luck afterall.

Then he goes on to mention the Hawks passing on Derron Williams and Chris Paul, and selecting Marvin Williams out of North Carolina. I don’t even see how you can start to compare these young guys yet, especially when Marvin was born in June of 86′ and Chris Paul and Deron Williams was born in May of 1985 or earlier. Just another example of how Mr. Fox likes to pick on the smaller kid. I wonder if he was a bully in school? It’s not been determined yet, who got the best player here yet. Check back in 2015 and compare these 3.

I was even amazed to see his article on June 20th, which was so recent. Most people in the basketball circle see Atlanta trading this 3rd overall pick to move lower down in the draft. So not sure why Mr. Fox spent so much time speculating who Atlanta would take 3rd overall in this upcoming draft. This just shows you a good example why some people shouldn’t even be allowed to turn on a computer, much less write a sports article on a sport or a team that he knows absolutely nothing about.

Hilary Duff’s Wake Up

Hilary Duff better known as the star on the Disney channel’s Lizzie McGurie, has used her tv show to launch her singing career. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Alex from YouTube having a show on Disney one day too! I’m not sure Alex needs a Disney show to get her singing career going, as YouTube has had it’s own success in getting people noticed. The record companies, the guys from Hollywood, and no telling who else is searching for that next big star. Not sure if they are getting lazy, or it’s just that the internet has became a valuable tool for searching out the next great stars of tomorrow.

You don’t have to read between the lines much when you really see someone that has talent. It’s all about finding that perfect place for them, so their talents can be used the best. It’s probably too early to tell if years from now we will know Hilary Duff the singer or just the girl that use to play Lizzie McGuire. She has also starred in some big movies, and maybe we will just know Hilary Duff as the actor. If Hilary does continue to command movie roles from Hollywood, I won’t be surprised to see someone like Alex from YouTube right beside her. I can already see these girls making a movie about some band they have and seeing Alex and Hilary performing their music together on the big screen!

NBA Mock Draft 2007

I’m really excited to see the NBA Draft soon approaching. It seems everybody has their own version of how this thing is going to go down. Since there are so many people putting out their mock drafts, I figured I could join in on the fun and put my own twist to the 2007 NBA Draft.

Now I don’t think I will go down the list and name which team will pick which player. I don’t think you should ever draft for a need. If your the San Antonio Spurs, then I say it’s ok to draft for a need. A team that has proven they are championship caliber should fill in a hole to make them that much stronger. All the other teams better just draft the best player on the board and forget filling needs. When you take a player knowing he is less talented, then the player you are drafting, because he is filling an immediate need is a loser’s mentatlity. Always take the best talent available! There will one day be a time you can trade talent for a need and get back an equal talent. Don’t downgrade your team never, and especially on draft day!

So who are this year’s most special players? They are 2 really special players, but it’s not the 2 your thinking of. I see two players in 5 years that will be condsidered the gems of this year’s draft.

Best player in the draft is Kevin Durant from Texas. He’s hands down the best player in the draft. However Greg Oden is 7 foot and plays center so he fills a need in the NBA, which is hard to find. Did you know that if you took 30 NBA teams right now and drafted from the Houston Rockets roster, that 20 of the GM’s currently in the NBA would take Yao Ming over Tracy McGrady! I would disagree with that since I believe McGrady is the 2nd best player in the league behind Laker’s Star Kobe Bryant.
